So I learned I needed to fix a few things in my story...and use spell check...I also added a bit of day two into this,so enjoy!^_^

I guess I should start with how I became his assistant. It’s a long story, so I hope those who read it will stay to read the whole thing.

To be honest, I don't really know how I got here. Two days ago, I had a bad day, and I really wished to be somewhere else. Then, these two-poles with- handlebars? - appeared. I picked them up; one was skinny with small blades at the ends, the other thick with spikes at the end. Me being an anime freak, I started to mess around with them, to see what they could do. I had Blazblue paused on my TV, and somewhat jokingly said, "Hey, sticks, why don't you take me there?” I sighed, and as I stood up to leave, a black-hole? A portal?-opened at my feet. I tried to move but it swallowed me almost instantly. The next thing I knew, I was here... in Blazblue.And you can imagine my surprise when I saw I had a tail.

Now, I would have liked to be a cat beastkin, with my love of cats. So the last thing I wanted to see were fins on my arms and head and an oversized goldfish tail at my butt! Honestly, I only knew I was in a slum of Kagutsuchi from the game, so I find it very lucky that I landed there. I was terrified at first, but then, I thought to myself, "This must be a dream, I’ll be okay”. Those two poles came with me, so I decided to hold them by the handles with one hand so I didn't look like an idiot (or at least, less than I already did, in an old shirt and jeans.)After some wandering, I found a little out of the way cafe, and went in. Of course, me now being part fish, all heads in the joint turned to me when I walked in. I felt like clocking them all, but I just sat down in the corner and got some tea. I scanned the place, nothing special. A few people still pointing in my direction, whispering.And when I turned to look at the table across from me, I saw him.

Obviously, my first instinct was to go all fangirl.But then, I thought it through; I do not know where this was in the storyline, but he did not look happy.Oh sure, he had a smile on his face, but those eyes hidden behind that green hair held daggers. His hands probably did too.

After drinking my tea, and looking him over a thousand times (after all, this was Hazama we were taking about) I realized I had no money. Sure, it was just tea. But I had had like, ten of them.Oh well. First time for everything, including dine and dash. As I stood up, though, he did too. He walked over to my table, and I froze in fear. If most of the game's characters couldn't beat him, what chance did I have with two metal poles? But he just put some money on the table, and the waitress hurried over to get it.” My treat.” he said. Did his smile grow wider?

“Thanks.”

I tried to hurry out, but he stopped me. He was literally blocking my way. His smile seemed to grow wider "Can I talk to you for a minute Miss....?"

"Talia.It's Talia" I said rather shakily.

"Ah.Miss Talia, then.Would you mind having a little chat with me outside?"

I swear, my tail was shaking in fear. I walked out as he asked, and he led me into the alleyway of a rather grand-looking building.Hmm, I didn't remember it. He stopped abruptly. His coat whipping in the wind, he asked me "You aren't from here, are you?"

I replied,"N-no sir, I just recently got to the city and-

His smile seemed to go wider."No, you aren't FROM here, are you? Believe me, Miss Talia, I can tell. Where did you come from? Another world out there? The past?"

I couldn't reply. As he opened his eyes, I could see the cruelty in them. I finally had the realization-this was no dream.

I wanted to run, but all I managed to do was stumble backwards onto the floor.

"Hmm, were you always a beastkin? Or did something come into play when you entered our world? Well I just had sushi, so I'm full-maybe Relius wants a look at you, though I doubt even YOU will please him...."

As he continued on. I couldn’t process it. I just said the one thing that came to mind.

"C-Can I work for you, Terumi, sir?!"

His eyes narrowed, and his mouth seemed to be dangerously close to a frown.

“How do you know that name? You one of the idiots trying to stop me too? Sigh, why do they always gotta annoy me?

He pointed the small knife towards me, and I felt myself trembling on the floor. All I knew was that I didn’t want to die. So I tried to get his attention.

"COULD YOU WAIT ONE FREAKING MINUTE!?" I yelled. I was still on the floor, so he appeared even taller than usual. His face, half shrouded in shadow, seemed bewildered and even amused.”LET ME EXPLAIN, YOU EGG LOVING IDIOT!"

He just looked at me, and started laughing.” Go ahead and say your piece, but if I don’t like it, well...........I'm guessing you know what happens next."

I told him how I had gotten there, and about Blazblue, the game in my world (though I refrained from saying anything but minute details of the game, though he pressed for more.

"This is more interesting than I thought! You even found yourself a pair of Nox Nyctores.How wonderful!

“I…did?”

"Now, you were asking about working for me, right? But what could you do for me?"

I thought fast, and came up with what I thought was a good answer.” I-I'll be your secretary! And while helping you with your job in intelligence department, I'll help cover your tracks, and help you with plans. I-I don't believe in what you are doing, but I am a fan, so-

"Deal.” He said, offering me a hand up.” But first, I want to see if you have what it takes to use those.” He pointed to the poles, which had turned short in the time I wasn't looking, and the weapons had dissapeared.We walked down the alley way were we came to a back door of the very grand building.

"Welcome to the Intelligence Department of the Novus Orbis Librarium.”, he said, stepping through the door into an unlit corridor.

I followed him through the door, into pitch black.

“Oh.My.God.”

Hazama had used that back door to go straight to his office through a secret panel. It seemed he had many of them, for separate offices, bedrooms, a lab I dare not look in, and a paw-shaped bath.

“That’s the-omigod this is-it’s just like the game!” I swear, I had gone into such a hype I almost tripped myself.

“Don’t die, now!” Hazama said mockingly.”Here, this is your room.” He clicked a panel on the library shelf to reveal a moderately sized room with an enormous bed in it, and only a small nightstand beside it took up the last of the space.

“There’s a bathroom on the other side, through that door across the room, kay? Don’t get too relaxed, girl, you are gonna start work tomorrow.

“What will I do, exactly?”

He let out a small laugh, bareley audible. “You’ll be running some tests on number 14057-28532.Got it?”

“Uh, yeah, I think…”

“Good!” he smirked.” See you in the morning!” His smile grew wide as he disappeared into yet another hidden room. Was he seriously singing about eggs?

Goodnight. To late to say it anyway.

I woke up some time around two in the morning. I was still exsausted, but I couldn’t fall back asleep. I had put the poles on the nightstand, and they had knocked off my glasses. I began to grope the walls for the light, but when I heard a faint click that should have been the light switch, it remained dark.

“Well, I guess he doesn’t use these rooms often.” I mumbled to myself. I had found my glasses, and my eyes had begun to adjust to darkness. I saw a little door open on the side of the wall.Curious, I peeked in.Suddenley, the room shifted, and I felt like it would swallow me whole. I ended up falling down the steps and hurting my leg. First I sleep in dirty, uncomfertable clothes, and then I come close to breaking my leg-perfect.Suddenly, enourmous headlights went on all around me, blinding me. After a few seconds, I blinked back pain to see Hazama and Relius sitting on desk chairs outside of the enormous glass dome I now found myself in. It had one door leading out, the one I came from, and an enormous gate on the other side.Hazama got up from his chair and clapped.

“Well, well! So nice of you to show up on time, Miss Secretary! I hope you’re ready for your test!”

Relius remained seated, and spoke in that calm voice of his.” You see our poor Terumi has as severe cat allergy. Despite him being less than human, it still affects him. We want to see how well you can use your Nox Nyctores, too see if you are of any use. Moving on, we tried several anti-allergens on one of our subjects, but it seems to have driven him insane. We need it disposed of, and we though we could use this as an opportune time to test you.”

Just then, the gate opened. I gazed up in horror to see what I would be “disposing of”. It looked like a giant cat, except twisted and grotesque. It was missing an eye, had a torn ear, patched of missing fur, and an enormous underbite taller than me. It looked like a giant monster. I paniked, running to the edge of the circular wall. Just as I was about to bang on it, I felt a jolt run through my body, and I felt myself fall, bewildered.Hazama let out a laugh of cruelty.

“Oh by the way, the walls are electrified! Most people won’t live past ten seconds of contact with that thing, so be careful!

I gasped, looking over my shoulder. The giant cat monster hadn’t noticed me, and it sat in the corner, lazily looking about.” You snake! I don’t even have my weapons! You tricked me!”

He opened one eye slightly.” I did no such thing! You just have to figure out how to call the weapons TO you. Or you die. Whatever works? Good luck, girl! He pulled out a small remote, and pushed a small red button in the center. The monster’s collar started beeping, and it turned its head to look straight at me. I could only stare as it stood up to full height, a skyscraper. And as soon as it saw me, it charged.
