Unlimited Mars Mode (アンリミテッドマーズモード Anrimiteddo Māzu Mōdo) is a new mode introduced in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend. In this mode, players must fight 10 Unlimited characters, all set in a particular order, with a special AI setting that is harder than Hell difficulty, similar to that of the Score Attack Mode in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. This mode effectively replaces Score Attack's previously high difficulty from BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, as Score Attack's difficulty is significantly turned down in Extend, but gradually gets harder.
The mode has since returned to the Arcade version of BlazBlue: Chronophantasma. Instead of being a long string of opponents, the mode is divided into four courses, one of which (Course D) must be unlocked by completing the other three. Each course consists of 10 opponents.
A special course, Course S, has also been released for a limited time in Arcades as a special promotion. Players with the highest ranking scores and times are awarded a special title and extra Platinum dollars. This course consists of 1-round fights against all 23 characters in Unlimited form, without health regeneration in-between matches.
