Unlimited Mars is a new mode introduced in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend. In this mode, players must fight 10 Unlimited Characters, all set in a particular order, with a special AI setting that is harder than Hell difficulty, similar to that of the Score Attack Mode in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. This mode effectively replaces Score Attack's previously high difficulty from Continuum Shift, as Score Attack's difficulty is significantly turned down in Extend, but gradually gets harder.

The mode has since returned to the Arcade version of BlazBlue: Chronophantasma. Instead of being a long string of opponents, the mode is divided into four courses, one of which (Course D) must be unlocked by completing the other three. Each course consists of 10 opponents. 

A special course, Course S, has also been released for a limited time in Arcades as a special promotion. Players with the highest ranking scores and times are awarded a special title and extra Platinum dollars. This course consists of 1-round fights against all 23 characters in Unlimited form, without health regeneration in-between matches.
