In Lambda's Gag Reel, she is accidentally teleported to the outside of the 13th Hierarchical City "Kagutsuchi" by Kokonoe, after Kokonoe panicked, she gave Lambda strict orders to return to the Seventh Agency headquarters without taking detours, however, the tartar attached himself to her ankle, flailing its tentacles as Lambda analyzed him. Carefully climbing up Lambda's leg, she further analyzed him to find that he's little more than a baby.
Makoto Nanaya interrupted the two, asking if the Lambda had lost her mother, Lambda analyzed Makoto, noticing her heritage as a squirrel-type beastman, which lead into an awkward silence until Makoto realized that the tartar had wrapped itself around Lambda's leg; she thought that the tartar was Lambda's pet due to the former's rarity, however, she corrected herself when she remembered that tartars are fairly intelligent, meaning they would make poor pets. Lambda quickly scanned the declining heart rate of the tartar, to which Makoto realized it was injured and needs saving before it dies; she then went on with Lambda to try and find some watercress which they used to help steady the tartars heart rate.
Lambda questioned Makoto's motives to save the tartar, asking if it was because it's of a rare species, to which she was met with quick tips on life and how life is important to preserve. Remembering Kokonoe's orders, Lambda attempted to leave but the tartar kept trying to keep up with her thanks to Lambda holding the watercress used to help cure it earlier. She placed the watercress on the floor and the tartar crawled onto her hand, promptly falling asleep; Lambda then gently held onto the tartar as Makoto called out to her, telling her to keep it so she can see it again.
Teleporting back, with the tartar in hand, to Kokonoe's lab; unable to be brave enough to show the tartar to Kokonoe, she left it wrapped up in its grass bed on the side of the scientists desk. Kokonoe threw the watercress, tartar inside, into the nearby bin, which sent the tartar hurdling through the Seventh Agency's numerous tubes.
- The tartar actually dies in BlazBlue: Alter Memory, whereas its fate is left ambiguous in the game series.
