In BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, Nu makes her triumphant return as a true playable character. Her playstyle is a bit different, now combining both her zoning style from BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and Lambda's more offensive style from BlazBlue: Continuum Shift through the use of style changes known as Dia Forma to Luna Forma. When Nu is in Luna Forma, she gets a halo above her head which indicated that she is now using Lambda's style. Nu begins each round in her Dia Forma mode.

An recently updated Chronophantasma arcade mode added Lambda into the character roster, where Nu will lose her Luna Forma to Lambda so players will have to stick to her Dia Forma play style.

In BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Nu is replaced with Lambda but remains in the game as her Unlimited form, the use of which is banned for all characters in tournaments. Please see the Lambda -No. 11-/Move List for information on her changes.

Nu is a character with low health and defense, so against most characters you want to create distance and generally keep it. Use your ranged drive combos to punish any approach attempts. Learn your opponents habits and catch them with 6DD combos from air dashes, or 5DD ground combos from low approaches. You can actually put out quite a bit of damage in melee if you do not want to stay ranged at all times, but if you are face to face, you want it to be on your terms, not theirs. Use Act Parcer to get in and out of range as you need to, just do not get predictable with it. Turn a single sword connect into a nasty combo every time. Remember, your opponent has to approach you, not the other way around. Burst intelligently, and do not be afraid to use it if you're in a bad situation (i.e., a corner combo). This one will vary from opponent to opponent.

In Dia Forma:

  • Allows access to all Drive follow ups regardless of whether they hit or not.
  • Gains Access to Act Parser.
  • Gains access to Legacy Edge.

In Luna Forma:

  • Gains a small damage boost to certain attacks.
  • Drive follow ups can only be used if the opponent doesn't Block the first hit.
  • Gains access to Act Parser Zwei, Zwei: Blade, and Zwei: Cavalier.
  • Gains access to Calamity Sword.
  • Loses (~C) versions of Sickle Storm, Spike Chaser, and Crescent Saber.
