In BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Lambda-11 retains mostly the same basic playstyle as her predecessor, Nu-13, she has been toned down and is no longer as overpowering as she was in the original game. While she can still effectively zone and approach with her swords and make approaching difficult for the opponent, they are a fair bit slower but gatling into more of her close range options such as 4B. In comparison to Nu, Lambda has quite a few more close range options at her disposal, namely her Act Pulsar Zwei (アクトパルサーZwei Akuto Parusā Tsuvai, localized as Act Parcer Zwei) moves, allowing her to get in and out of trouble and rack up some serious damage. Her overwhelming damage potential has also been toned down, but Lambda is still perfectly capable of pulling off devastatingly damaging combos due to BlazBlue: Continuum Shift’s changes. Lambda has been classified as solidly B tier through BlazBlue: Continuum Shift and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II, down from her previous ranking in S tier as Nu. As of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Lambda ranks as B tier, although lower than both her BlazBlue: Continuum Shift and II counterparts. She has been nerfed a little from BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II, but did receive buffs in the form of a solid anti air and general heat gain buffs on her normals.

Notably, selecting Unlimited Lambda in the console version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will allow you to play as Unlimited Nu. This version of Nu has many of her old BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger moves (i.e. Sickle Storm and Act Pulsar) while retaining the BlazBlue: Continuum Shift upgrades, such as the improved Gravity Seed and Act Pulsar specials. Many of the moves she obtains from BlazBlue: Continuum Shift have considerably different properties to Lambda’s. However, since BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Nu has not been modified, so she still retains the issues that BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Lambda had, such as 2C not canceling into anything. She also cannot jump cancel 5DD like she could in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.

In BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend, her playstyle is mostly the same as Nu-13’s in Luna Forma (ルナフォルマ Runa Foruma). The swords that Lambda summons are brand-new and she has a green, ethereal aura surrounding her. Her Overdrive, Elysium (エリュシオン Eryushion), increases the size and damage of her Drive attacks and grants them new properties.

In BlazBlue: Centralfiction, Lambda got another version of Act Pulsar Zwei called Act Pulsar Tri (アクトパルサーTri Akuto Parusā Tri), which has several follow-ups: a new overhead Spada (スパーダ Supāda), and, from the previous games, Blade (ブレイド Bureido), and Cavalier (キャバリエ Kyabarie). Cavalier can be performed without Act Pulsar Tri.

Gravity effect disappears if Lambda is hit while the portal is still active. If an airborne opponent is hit by Lambda’s hands while she is summoning the portal, they will float upwards slowly until they tech.

In Overdrive, its recovery is reduced, allowing Lambda to attack or air-dash without touching the ground.

Gravity effect disappears if Lambda is hit while the portal is still active. If an airborne opponent is hit by Lambda’s hands while she is summoning the portal, they will float upwards slowly until they tech.

Lambda-11 (Sprite, 22D) Lambda jumps away from the ground and fires a sword downward. Mainly used in corner combos and is a good tool for baiting mash, DP’s, and Counter Assaults. Good damage off of counter hit.
It is very punishable on startup, so it’s not recommended that you use this outside of its two aforementioned purposes.
In Overdrive, its recovery is reduced, allowing Lambda to attack or air-dash without touching the ground.
