Demons (鬼 oni) are a species that lives in the east of the BlazBlue world. Demons were mentioned to have grotesque looks, though not a single demon was shown in the series.
Their cells possess the ability to stimulate the functions of living creatures. However, their effect is too strong for a human, so injecting them into one will most likely kill them. Currently, only one person was able to survive the injection, but it made him, TR-0009 Tager, look similar to a demon.
Jin Kisaragi fought a demon during the Ikaruga Civil War.
