Human sub-race (亜人種 Ajinshu, localized as demi-humans) is a race of artificial demi-humans with animal traits. They were created during the Great Dark War to fight against the Black Beast.
The only known demi-human in the series is Makoto Nanaya, and, despite some differences, in this category can be included lycanthropes.
Beastmen, half-beastmen and human sub-race generally appear to possess excellent physical and sensory capabilities compared to humans, as well as extremely long lifespans – but even these advantages cannot save them from being treated by other people as second-class citizens, and even discriminated against and hated.
